Babar Wahab was a man in his late forties. He had two wives named Sana and Ayesha. Sana was forty-three years old and had three children, whereas Ayesha was thirty-nine years old and had four children. Babar owned a clothing store in a Mulsim locality and had constructed a few rental properties around the house where he lived with his family. Despite having two wives in the family, people considered them a Happy family. But in reality, Babar was a man with toxic masculinity attributes. He was not violent but didn't treat his wives much politely either.

Nandini Desai was a thirty-six-year-old woman who was now separated from her husband and led a lonely life. She worked as a receptionist at a small OYO hotel close to that locality. The job didn't pay her well - Nandini decided to find a rental property that was cheap and still decent. She became one of Babar's tenants. She became good friends with Sana.

Responsibilities in Babar's family were such that Sana would do most of the household chores, whereas Sana would take care of his personal needs. Babar preferred younger females for his pleasure. Ayesha would share her problems with Nandini about how Babar treats her unfairly and often has his way with her against her will. Nanding sympathized with Ayesha. One day she told her to stand up for her rights.

As a result, Ayesha argued with Babar. The next day she went to her parents with all three children. It did not take Babar much longer to realize what caused this sudden outrage. He didn't like that some random tenant, a woman who came from a different community, gave lessons to his wife and made her rebel against him. To top it all - Sana wasn't so good at cooking meals like Ayesha.

Nandini was a raving beauty yet traditional in her ways. Unfortunately, the beauty didn't have much of a brain. She was gullible and innocent. Babar confronted Nandini - asking her to leave his property before sunset, or if she had to stay; she would have to do one of three things. First, convince Ayesha to come back on the very same day. Second, pay double the rent until Ayesha comes back. Third and last, do all the chores for Babar's family as a maid or perhaps a wife in place of Ayesha.
