This idea has a touch of romance and emotions to begin with, but the smut portion will definitely get nasty.
I have cherished playing mature roles with age gaps mostly, but this one has a younger protagonist as compared to the female lead.
Here are the characters:-
Abhi as in Abhiraj is a simple college going boy who just turned 19. He comes from a financially sound family, but has mostly been confined to his apartment and the locality he stays in. His father who owns a multiple shops around the town, isn't happy about his son's way of life. He wants him to socialize and therefore, he gets him enrolled in a college that is far away from the comfort of home. Abhi arrives in a completely new city and stays in a rented 1 RK. In terms of looks, Abhi resembles a nerd who has spent most of his time with books.
Ruchika:- Abhi obviously hates this new town, but his heart skips a beat when he sees Ruchika on the first day of college. Ruchika is an opportunist and knows how to manipulate people to get her work done. Abhi isn't the only guy who likes her. Though others are vocal, Abhi has never told anyone about his liking for Ruchika.
Divya:- Divya is 32 years old and has been teaching in college for couple of years now.. She's married to Arun since a year. While most professors usually limit themselves to finishing their lectures and ignore the students concerns, Divya is an exception in this regard. She not only knows every student, but also understands their strengths and weaknesses. In terms of her looks, she prefers being simple and dresses up conservatively (mostly in a saree or salwar kameez)
Just like Abhi prefers to be an introvert, Divya happens to keep her personal issues to herself too. Every girl has some expectations from her husband so does Divya. Though Arun and her spend quality time together, she yearns for his attention. She expects him to notice her new hairstyle, her new saree etc, but Arun fails to notice any of these subtle changes in her.
The plot:-
Divya knows how studious Abhi is, but lately she notices, he's aloof during her lectures. As if he's lost in thoughts and then she happens to see him looking at Ruchika. She's quick to understand that Abhi likes Ruchika, but he's unable to express his liking to her. She knows the kind of girl Ruchika is and knowing how simple Abhi is, she should warn him. She wants him to find a better girl.
She knows it would be awkward to talk to Abhi directly, but finally makes up her mind as she feels any further delay would only harm Abhi emotionally. She finally talks to him and after a lot of coaxing, Abhi happens to confess his liking for Ruchika. She warns him about Ruchika and tells him to focus on his studies, but Abhi obviously doesn't budge. She finally decides to help Abhi in wooing Ruchika. She hopes that Ruchika would change herself after being with a guy like Abhi. Since college isn't the right place to talk about this stuff, she talks to him on calls and texts. One day,her husband Arun happens to read Abhi's text on Divya's phone and he's not happy that his wife is getting involved in this. Though he doesn't doubt her, he is not happy that his wife is helping a student in wooing a girl instead of doing her job.
Divya decides to give Ruchika a very difficult project to work on for the first term. And she quietly passes a word around other students that they could approach Abhi for help with their projects. Ruchika approaches Abhi for her project and Divya is elated to know this. Knowing the kind of girl Ruchika is, she advises Abhi to help her just like he's helping the other students. As soon as her project is done, Ruchika stops talking to Abhi. Out of frustration, Abhi confesses his liking to Ruchika. She laughs at him and mocks him in front of the other students who are around them.
A heartbroken Abhi decides to be a loner again, but Divya wants him to be the kind of guy he was prior to falling for Ruchika. This time she invites him home when Arun is around. She hopes Arun will help her in getting Abhi out of this mess, but Arun just has casual talks with him. When Abhi leaves, Arun looses his temper as he is not happy that his wife is still trying to help this guy in spite of him telling her not to get into all this stuff.
Abhi on the other hand was waiting for the lift when he hears Arun shouting at Divya. He wants to intervene, but know this will only make matters worse.
I know was too much of a read. The plot moves forward on how Abhi and Divya get close after this incident.
If you feel you are interested in playing Divya, please keep in mind that you'll have to play as Ruchika as well when her time comes.
Feel free to change the name of your character if you wish to. This is an emotionally charged play so I am going to be highly selective of the partner I'd wish to play with.
